This year, Starnes Publishing was honored to be recognized in the Inc. 5000 for the second year in a row. The Inc. 5000 is an annual list created by Inc. Magazine that ranks the country’s top 5000 fastest-growing private companies. Other local companies included in this list are Halo Top Creamery, Mountain High Outfitters, American Family Care, and Chicken Salad Chick. To be recognized once is a big deal—to be recognized twice is a pretty big thing.

It meant a lot to us to make the list last year because it’s something Dan, our founder, has aspired to for several years. Including making the Inc. 5000, there have been several different milestones over the past few years and there’s a trend we’ve noticed about them: they’re all related to people.

We wouldn’t have experienced the growth we’ve seen if it wasn’t for the people on our team. Without them, we wouldn’t be moving to the next level, which for Starnes Media, the next level is a digital agency, which we’ve been nurturing for the past year. As we’ve grown this team, we’re anticipating reaching even higher levels and expanding Starnes Media even further as a successful media company.
